How To: Enter eBay Channel Credentials or Refresh an existing eBay Authorisation Token

Training must be completed before using Channel Listings.

Acquiring the eBay Channel Authorisation Token

  1. Open a Web Configuration screen (show me how).
  2. Open the [ Stock | Channel Setup ] tab.
  3. In the upper grid, focus on the channel you wish to acquire the credentials for.
  4. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  5. Click on the Credentials button in the channel setup screen button.
  6. Type in the eBay User name for your eBay account.
  7. Click on the et eBay Token button.
  8. Once the eBay User Config screen which opens, please follow the on screen instructions, Clicking the [Next] button.
  9. This will open a Web Browser which requires you to log into your eBay account.
  10. Please follow the steps.
  11. When finished, click on the Ok button on the eBay User Config screen.
  12. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save.

Notes:

  1. Please note Tokens are only valid for one year (this is controlled by eBay).
  2. You need to refresh the token before they expire each year.
  3. If your token has expired, please contact or email Support.

Refreshing an existing eBay Channel Authorisation Token

eBay tokens are valid for 12 months after which they must be refreshed.

  1. Open a Web Configuration screen (show me how).
  2. Open the [ Stock | Channel Setup ] tab.
  3. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  4. Click on the Credentials button in the channel setup screen button.
  5. Click on the et eBay Token button.
  6. On the eBay User Config screen which opens, please follow the on screen instructions, Clicking the [Next] button.
  7. Please follow the steps.
  8. When finished, click on the OK button on the eBay User Config screen.
  9. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save.
