How To: Setup Amazon for Jersey, Guernsey and other UK islands that do not charge VAT

Training must be completed before using Channel Listings.

Khaos Control must be setup so that Sales Orders for Jersey, Guernsey and other UK islands that do not charge VAT are imported from Amazon without VAT being added. There are two steps required to set this up:

Step One

Create Jersey, Guernsey and other UK islands as countries in [ System Data | Countries ] grid:

  1. Open a System Data screen (show me how).
  2. Open the [ System Data | Countries ] screen.
  3. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  4. Press F3 or click the NEW ITEM button has an icon that shows two sheets of paper (identified by having the top right corner folded down), arranged diagonally on the icon from top left to bottom right to add a new item.
  5. Add the required information (see below for an example).
  6. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save when finished.

Step Two

  1. Open a System Data screen (show me how).
  2. Open the [ Channel Postcode Matching ] screen.
  3. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  4. Press F3 or click the NEW ITEM button has an icon that shows two sheets of paper (identified by having the top right corner folded down), arranged diagonally on the icon from top left to bottom right to add a new item.
  5. Add the postcode, for example 'GY' for Guernsey, or 'JE' for Jersey in the Postcode column.
  6. In the Country column F4 and select the appropriate country from the list.
  7. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save.
