Editing the Wiki - Categories

Page approved.



Categories appear at the bottom of the relevant pages and are a method of grouping the different Wiki pages by areas and options of the system. All categories can be seen by loading the Categories link at the top of the Wiki. It is useful when wanting to view all pages that are linked to Channels 2, Clients, EPOS, HHT2 etc and also is where the review categories are also kept and also Templates.

Categories appear either at the top of the page or at the bottom.

Top of the page

These categories are normally added in the top left of the page.

Creating a new category

  1. Categories are created by using [[Category: name of area|{{BASEPAGENAME}}]] at the bottom of a Wiki page.
  2. Save the page.
  3. Click on the category page that appears at the bottom of the screen to go to the new screen.
  4. Enter the following:
    {{Category}}
    {{cats}}
  5. Save the page.
