Channel Listings is an Advanced User feature.

The Channel Setup Overrides dialog allows the importing, both manually and automatically, of orders attributable to multiple channels through a single input, i.e. the parent Amazon channel which contains the credentials. The child channels belonging to the parent are setup in this dialog, see How To: Setup Multiple Amazon Channels from One Set of Credentials. The system uses the email address to work out which Amazon channel the order is from, for example @marketplace.amazon.co.uk is from the UK Amazon channel whereas the @marketplace.amazon.com is from the USA.

Notes:

  1. If the Imported Order does not match the email address filter, the Channel Settings of the parent channel will be picked up.
  2. Ensure that the email addresses are exclusive.
  3. If a keycode cannot be applied to a Sales Order, the Sales Order will not import and the Order will go to a list of unimported Orders.
  4. If an F4 look up is selected but not required it can be cleared using the [ Back Space ] key when it is left selected.

Channel Setup Overrides Dialog

The dialog consists of the two action buttons and the lower grid:

  • the NEW ITEM button has an icon that shows two sheets of paper (identified by having the top right corner folded down), arranged diagonally on the icon from top left to bottom right   : add a new child channel.
  • the DELETE ITEM button has an icon that shows two sheets of paper (identified by having the top right corner folded down), arranged diagonally on the icon from top left to bottom right and overlaid with a red cross.   : delete a child channel.
  • Filter:
    • Buyer Email: the buyer's email address without the information to the left of the @ sign for example @marketplace.amazon.co.uk.
  • Financial Override:
  • Sales Order Override:
    • Sales Source: the sales source to be applied to the sales order imported from the channel, see How To: Create a Sales Source.
    • Company Class: the Company Class to be used when creating new customers as a result of importing sales orders from the channel.
    • Invoice Priority: the Invoice Priority to be applied to the imported sales order for this channel, this will be visible in the Sales Invoice Manager, see How To: Setup Invoice Priorities.
    • Keycode: the keycode to be applied to the sales order when it is imported from a channel, this will need to be setup beforehand see Keycode How Tos.
    • Ass Ref Prefix (default=AZ) for Amazon orders: the associated reference appears in the [ Sales Order | Payment ] tab and is used to prefix the channel order ID number making it easier to differentiate orders from different channels. This option allows the user to define their own prefixes, useful when there are more than one type of channel.
    • Brand:  (Required) the brand to be applied to the sales order imported from the channel, see How To: Setup Branding.
  • Stock Override:
    • Main Site: stock for listing is held in the ‘site’ associated with a specific channel. For example stock for the eBay Test UK Shop KSD 02 is held in the eBay UK site and stock for the eBay Test 01 channel is held in the Main Site. This allows stock to be listed for different channels in different sites, for example your German eBay listings can be held in Germany, see How To: Create a Site.
Note: sites are NOT available when using batches.
  • Amazon Override:
    • Which Order Date:
      • Purchase: the date the items were purchased.
      • Payment: the date the items were paid for.

WARNING: Once the Ass Ref Prefix has been set do not change it otherwise your sales orders will be re-imported

How does the overrides work with my check availability call?

If you have overrides configured to work with your Amazon Europe Marketplace, you will need to be aware that Khaos Control does not handle the export of stock information to Amazon, any differently to normal. Khaos Control will send the new stock prices/levels to the Source Marketplace on Amazon. This information will then be distributed to the Target Marketplace by Amazon, providing they are configured to do so. Please see the below image which should help in explaining the process:
