Courier Options Dialog - NetDespatch/Royal Mail

NetDespatch/Royal Mail integration is not enabled by default.

The Courier Options dialog allows the user to configure attributes for different couriers, the options will be different for each courier. You can copy the details from an existing courier to another similar one.

To load the Courier Options dialog, open [ System Data | Couriers ] screen, focus on the courier, right-click and select Configure from the context menu. For each option there is an explanation about what is does.

Notes
Nominal Weights can only be used on Boxes (at present). Nominal weights should be in base Khaos Control weight and will be modified by the weight scaling. The system will use:

  1. Actual Weight
  2. The consignment weight (items postage or average weight.)
  3. Nominal Weight

Name Description Notes
UsernameYour username for NetDespatch's online services.
PasswordYour password for NetDespatch's online services.
TariffTariff code to send to NetDespatch. You will find a list of valid codes on your online account.
ServiceThe Service Code to send to NetDespatch. You will find a list of valid codes on your online account.
AccountThe Account code to send to NetDespatch. You will find a list of valid codes on your online account.
Goods DescriptionDescription of goods to print on the shipment label.
Sender NameThe Sender Name for the label, usually this is your company name.
Sender addressThe Sender Address for the label, usually this is your company's address. Separate multiple lines with commas.
Sender TownSender Town for the label, usually your company's address.
Sender PostcodeSender Postcode for the label, usually your company's address.
Sender CountrySender Country for the label- usually your company's address. Specify a 2-letter code, e.g. G.B.
Sender TelSender Telephhone number , usually your company's contact details.
Sender ContactSender Contact, e.g. Sales Department or Customer Services.
Test ModeTicked, shipments are sent to NetDespatch's test system so you can verify the integration is working without producing real shipments.
Department ReferenceDepartment Reference for the label
Notes EnabledTicked, courier notes are sent to NetDespatch.
Print CommandCommand to run when a label is produced. For example, you might set Acrobat to open the label file and print it. In the command "%s" will be replaced with the label filename.
Indicia NumberOptional indicia number for the account (e.g. HQ1550X) [International Service Only].
Documents CategoryThe category of the consignments is "Documents" [International Service Only].
Export TypeThe type of goods declaration for CN22/CN23 (i.e. documents, Gifts, Returned goods, Merchandise / Sample, or Other) [International Service Only].
Export Type DescThe description of the type of goods for CN22/CN23 (i.e. Personal effects) [International Service Only].
Non-Delivery InstructionNon-Delivery Instruction for CN22/CN23 (i.e. RETURN, DESTROY or NONE) [International Service Only].
Export Entry NumberExport Entry Number for CN22/CN23 (i.e. EE12341234) [International Service Only].
Certificate NumberLicense / certificate number for CN22/CN23 (i.e. CR12341234) [International Service Only].
Customs Client CodeCustoms Client Code for CN22/CN23 (i.e. XX12341234) [International Service Only].
Include Invoice NumberProvide the associated sales invoice number as the CN22/CN23 invoice number [International Service Only].
Include Consignee VAT NumberProvide the associated customer's tax ref as the CN22/CN23 consignee VAT number [International Service Only].
Roll up CN22 by HS CodeRoll up stock items in the boxes by the Harmonisation Code in the CN22 document [International Service Only].
Weight ScaleThe weight against your shipments will be multiplied by this scaling factor before sending to the courier. For example, if you store weight in grams, multiply by 0.001 to covert to KG.
Nominal WeightIf this value is set, when your shipment has no weight set against it, then this nominal weight will be used instead. Use if your courier classifies parcel as thought they all have an agreed weight. Please use the system weight used throughout Khaos Control.This is then scaled by the weight Scale.Note that it can only be used when packing boxes.
Dimension scaleThe dimensions against your shipments will be multiplied by this scaling factor before sending to the courier. For example, if you store dimensions in meters, multiple by 100 to covert to cm.
Requires Consignment RefTicked, Sales Invoice cannot be moved past the Shipping stage unless the Consignment(s) have a Consignment Ref.
