How To: Create a General Note as a Telesale Prompt

General Customer Notes as entered in the [ Detail | CRM | Free Text Notes ] tab, see How To: Enter Customer Specific Notes, can be displayed as a Telesales Prompt when a new sales order is created providing useful information for the sales staff.


  1. Open a Customer screen (show me how).
  2. Load the required customer record and make sure you are in the [ Customer | Detail | General ] screen.
  3. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  4. Tick the checkbox Show Gen Note as TP.
  5. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save the customer's record.
