How To: Create a Harmonisation Code

  1. Open a System Data screen (show me how).
  2. Double-Click on [ International | Harmonisation Codes ] to open.
  3. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  4. Press F3 or click the NEW ITEM button has an icon that shows two sheets of paper (identified by having the top right corner folded down), arranged diagonally on the icon from top left to bottom right to add a new item.
  5. Add the Harmonisation Code in the Harmonisation Code column.
  6. Add the Harmonisation Code description in the Description column.
  7. Focus in the Country or Zone column and press F4 to select a country or zone from the dropdown list. This is the country (or the Zone the country is in) that the items belonging to this code can be sent to.
  8. Tick the Default checkbox: as required
    • Ticked: this Harmonisation Code will be used if for all countries when it has been added to one country or zone as the default. This means you can setup one Harmonisation Code for one country or zone and by making it the default it will be applied to all countries.
    • Unticked: a Harmonisation Code will be required for all countries or Zones that items are being shipped to.
  9. Repeat as required.
  10. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save.
