How To: Create a New Appointment

  1. Open a CRM Manager screen (show me how).
  2. Click on the [ Appointments & Actions (Diary) ] tab.
  3. Select the day for the appointment from the calendar.
  4. Click and drag in the timeline of the grid to select the required time slot (in the far left of the grid, left of the time segments).
  5. Click on the icon.
  6. In the Book Meeting Dialog:
  7. Tick the 'Users' who will be attending the event.
  8. Add the message, for example Meeting re training in meeting room.
  9. Assign a company: (Optional)
    1. Click on the the green opening folder icon is normally linked to the opening of a dialog box that allows the user to browse and select a value or range of values button.
    2. Either enter the company URN and Enter or:
      • Click the the green opening folder icon is normally linked to the opening of a dialog box that allows the user to browse and select a value or range of values button or press F8
      • Use the filters to locate the company
      • Double click on the company
    3. Select the correct contact from the drop-down selection.
    4. Click on OK to close the Company popup.
  10. Click on OK to add the appointment to the diary.
