Update the EPOS Price List using the EPOS Utility Price List

The EPOS Utility Price List allows the user to create alternative pricing, for example for a shop promotion and apply the prices instantly. For example this could be very useful if you had to specify 500 alternative prices for a shop sale but you did not want to stay up all Sunday night updating the core EPOS Price list. Updating the Utility EPOS Price List then copying it across to the core EPOS Price list would allow you to spend as long as it takes updating all prices. For information about copying a price list see Using the Copy Price List Button to Set Up Future Prices.

Once the Sale or EPOS promotion is finished then simply delete all the relevant items from the core EPOS Price List. To do this:

  1. Open a Promotion screen (show me how).
  2. Go to [ Promotions | Price Lists | Stock Item / Price List ] or [ Promotions | Price Lists | Stock Type / Price List ] screen.
  3. Select the core EPOS Price List from the dropdown box.
  4. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  5. Select all the stock line that require deleting.
  6. Press Ctrl+Del or click the DELETE ITEM button has an icon that shows a sheet of paper with a red minus in the bottom left. to delete the selected item.
  7. If multiple line are selected then click Yes to continue.
  8. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save.
