How To: Create and link your Amazon FbA Channel in Channels 2.0

The method of communication by which Khaos Control retrieves Amazon orders is now exclusively using the Amazon SP API


Any systems still using MWS at this time will not to be able to retrieve new Amazon orders.
The Authorise button allows you to acquire an OAUTH token for the SP API.

There are several steps required to setting up and linking your Amazon FbA channels with Khaos Control when using Channels 2.0.

The following process is required to tell Amazon that you intend to use Khaos Control to manage your stock quantities and sales orders.

Note: Amazon will periodically contact you to confirm you still wish the Khaos Control application to have access to your systems. This is perfectly normal and gives you an opportunity to review all applications and developers who may have access to your Amazon MWS systems.

Creating your Amazon Channel in Khaos Control

  1. Type chan into the command window.
  2. Press Ctrl+N or click the New item icon is the button bar's NEW button . (This is found in the Menu Bar at the top of the screen).
  3. Click Yes to confirm that you wish to create a new channel.
  4. Select Amazon from the dropdown menu and press OK.
  5. Enter the Channel name, and set the import options accordingly.
  6. Select whether you wish to use the Amazon SKU:
    • Enabled, the system uses the Amazon SKU from the channel products to match on import rather than the ASIN.
    • Disabled, the system uses the ASIN from the channel products to match on import, not the Amazon SKU.
  7. Select Only FBA Import.
  8. Select the region.
  9. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save.
  10. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  11. Click on the Amazon Authorise button in the Channels 2.0 screen button in the Channel Specific section.
  12. Log into your Amazon Seller Central account. You will be directed to an app authorisation page which will show the areas of the Amazon SP API that we are asking for access to.
  13. Tick the Accept checkbox.
  14. Click OK and you will be re-directed to a page to let you know if the authorisation was successful; calls to Amazon will now start using the Amazon SP integration.
  15. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save.
