How To: Move Categories

 Website Categories setup and maintenance is an Advanced User feature.
Please speak to your website developers before using this feature.

Configuring and using Web Categories requires HQ User permission.

It is possible to move a category between nodes, this is useful if you are reorganising your website or if you have put the category in the wrong node.

  1. Open a Web Configuration screen (show me how).
  2. Load the required website.
  3. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  4. Expand the nodes you wish to move the categories between.
  5. Focus on the category you wish to move.
  6. Drag and drop the category onto the new location.
  7. In the Confirm popup click on 'Yes'.
  8. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save when finished.
