How To: Save the eBay Channel Type Values as a Template when using Channels 1.0

Channel Listings is an Advanced User feature.

Once Channel Type Values have been setup, see How To: Setup eBay Channel Type Values, then they can be saved as a template and can then be applied to others listings either as:

• Single listings
• Groups of listings
• Categories

Save a new template

1. Open a Web Configuration screen (show me how).
2. Open the [ Channel Listings | Listings ] screen.
3. Double-click on the eBay listing to load the [ Channel Listings | Listing Details ] screen.
4. Press Alt+E or click to enter edit mode.
5. Click on the button above the Value Set grid.
6. Select the Value Set from the options in the drop down list.
7. Click on OK.
8. Focus on the Value Set option in the Value Set grid on the left.
9. Double-click on the first option in the options grid to the right.
10. Select, tick the checkbox or enter a value as appropriate.
11. Click on OK.
12. Continue updating your value sets as required.
13. Once you have configured your template, click on the button.
14. Click on the button above the grid.
15. Enter the name for the new template - The name is limited to 50 characters.
16. Click on OK.
17. Click on OK to close the popup.
18. Press Ctrl+S or click to save the listing if not making any other changes.

Save an existing template

1. Open a Web Configuration screen (show me how).
2. Open the [ Channel Listings | Listings ] screen.
3. Double-click on the eBay listing to load the [ Channel Listings | Listing Details ] screen.
4. Click on the button.
5. Click on the button above the grid.
6. Enter the name for the new template.
7. Click on OK.
8. Click on OK to close the popup.
