How To: Send Document Notifications using the Other Actions Menu

Document Notifications can be sent using the Other Actions Menu in the following screens:

To send a Document Notification:

  1. Load the relevant document.
  2. Click on the Other Actions Menu File:BtnOtherActions.jpgŽ or press F9
  3. Select either:
    • Send to followed by the person's User Name or;
    • Send to followed by Not logged in and then the person's User Name.
  4. On the Add Notification dialog, over type the Message with relevant information or instructions (Optional).
  5. BtnTriStYesXP.jpg Tick or BtnTriStNoXP.jpg untick the Request read-receipt checkbox as required.
    Note: this checkbox will default to either BtnTriStYesXP.jpg ticked or BtnTriStNoXP.jpg unticked based on the Request Read Receipts option set in the [ Options | Edit Preferences | UI |Notifications ] screen.
  6. Click 'OK' to send the notification.
