How To: Set Stock Type Prices Against a Price List

  1. Open a Promotion screen (show me how).
  2. Select the [ Price Lists | Stock Type / Price List ] tab.
  3. Tick the lower grid checkbox.
  4. Select the required 'Stock Type' from the drop-down list.
  5. Select the required price list from the drop-down list.
    Note: if the Price List is not listed in the options you will need to create it in System Data before you can add stock items to it. See Creating a Price List below.
  6. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  7. Press F3 or click the NEW ITEM button has an icon that shows two sheets of paper (identified by having the top right corner folded down), arranged diagonally on the icon from top left to bottom right to add a new item.
  8. Enter the required information:
    • Quantity Break Banding: both Low and High.
    • Discounts: either as an amount or percentage, or
    • Mark-Up %: the mark-up percentage based on the buy price.
  9. Repeat for more stock types or quantity break banding of the same stock type.
  10. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save.

Creating a Price List

You will need to set up a price list in the System Data screen screen before being able to add stock types to it.

  1. Open a System Data screen (show me how).
  2. Select [ Sales Order Processing | Price Lists ] tab.
  3. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  4. Press Ctrl+N or click the New item icon is the button bar's NEW button button on the Button Bar.
  5. Enter the details relevant to the price list and tick the 'Price List' checkbox.
  6. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save.
