How To: Set up a 3 for 2 offer across multiple stock items or stock types

WARNING icon
Telesale Rule is an Advanced User feature.

This Telesales Rule will give the lowest price item free for all orders with 3 items belonging to the specified stock types and/or individual stock items.

Note: stock items are grouped in threes by price (ie highest priced three items together, next highest three together etc) with the lowest priced item in each group being offered free of charge. This can also be used when higher numbers are required in order to get a free item, ie 4 for 3, 6 For 5 etc, simply adjust the BOGOF qty as appropriate.

Example Scenario

In the example below:
if the customer:

  • buys three or more items from the Skin Care or the Sun Care stock types;

they can have:

  • every third item from the Skin Care or the Sun Care stock types for free.
    Notes:
  1. The cheapest item(s) will always be the free item(s).
  2. The discounts apply to each Stock Type individually not across the eligible stock types, see the result of the example below.
