How To: Set up a Courier against a Channel when using Channels 2.0

It is possible to define which of the couriers or courier groups that are set up in Khaos Control are to be used for orders imported from specified channels. You can also define which couriers or courier groups are to be used for specified delivery services within a given channel - for example Amazon expedited.

  1. Open a Channels Screen by typing 'chan' in the Command Window.
  2. Select the channel you intend to define courier services for.
  3. Go to the [ Channel | Detail | Setup ] screen.
  4. Enter the EDIT ITEM button has an icon that shows a green triangle. Edit Mode.
  5. In the Channel Specific Group Values list found in the bottom left, select the Channel Delivery Option you wish to set a courier for. These will vary according to the type of Channel you have selected.
  6. In the adjacent Channel Specific Values grid on the right, click the the NEW ITEM button has an icon that shows two sheets of paper (identified by having the top right corner folded down), arranged diagonally on the icon from top left to bottom right Add New Item button.
  7. In the Configure Which Field? popup, select either Order Header Courier or Order Header Courier Group option.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Once these have been added to the grid, focus in the Value column and use F8 to select the Courier or Courier Group you wish to use for the service selected.
  10. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save.

Note:

  • Couriers and Courier Groups must first be set up in [ System Data | Courier/Shipping ] .
  • If all your courier services have been assigned to a courier group, the group must be defined in the Channel Specific Values grid as detailed above
