How To: Understand Email Manager Error Messages

Socket Error #10060

The error message:

Socket Error #10060
Connection timed out. Emails cannot be sent.

means that Khaos Control cannot connect to your email server in order to send email messages. This could be because:

  • Khaos Control has not been setup to talk to your email server. Please refer to [ System Values | Contact Manager | Emails ] for configuration details; or
  • The username/password you are using to connect to your email server is no longer valid (e.g. password has expired); or
  • There is a network failure affecting your ability to send emails. In which case, your normal email won't be working either (assuming your normal email is set to use the same email server as Khaos Control).

TKosEmailListP Error

The error message:

TKosEmailListP
Attempt to use KosMeslogDlg call back function when its not assigned

is an internal Khaos Control error that would need to be reported to Support, please email Support.
