Packer Tracker Report

The Packer Tracker function is used to audit the movement of Sales Orders within the Sales Invoice Management process and which user was responsible for the move. The Packer Tracker Report popup is accessed from the [ Sales Invoice | Other Actions Menu ].

The Packer Tracker Report popup consists of three areas:

  • Filters
  • Top grid
  • Bottom grid

Filters

Note: to populate the top grid the GO button must be pressed.

  • Date From and Date To: the date range is traffic light filtered. If the traffic light is off (red) then the system will return all dates.
  • Stage: used to select the stage in the Sales Invoice Manager and view movements in the stage.
    Note: this filter works in conjunction with the Movements radio buttons.
  • Movements radio buttons:
    • In: view movements IN to the selected stage.
    • Out: view movements OUT of the selected stage.
    • Both: view movements BOTH in and out of the selected stage.
      Note: if no stage has been selected (i.e. the traffic light is red) then all IN and OUT movements will be returned.
  • Include System Movements checkbox:
    • TICKED: includes any system movements, for example invoices automatically moving from the Future stages into Released.
    • UNTICKED: excludes any system movements.
  • Exclude COS Excluded Items checkbox: when ticked the user can filter the Sales Orders returned by returning Sales Order information for lines where the Stock items are NOT flagged as 'COS Excluded item' in their [ Stock | Detail | Options ].
    • TICKED: filters the Sales Orders returned by returning Sales Order information for lines where the Stock items are NOT flagged as 'COS Excluded item' in their [ Stock | Detail | Options ] screen.
    • UNTICKED: filters the Sales Orders returned by returning Sales Order information for lines where the Stock items ARE flagged as 'COS Excluded item' in their [ Stock | Detail | Options ] screen.
  • Include Future Stages checkbox:
    • TICKED (default): this option will work as previously, including movements in and out of all stages.
    • UNTICKED: the movements for items currently in a Future stage (Awaiting Date, Awaiting Stock, Terms Hold and Manual Hold) are excluded.
  • Only Stock Controlled checkbox:
    • TICKED: only movements for stock controlled items will be included.
    • UNTICKED (default): this option will work as previously, including movements of all stock items.

Top grid

The top grid displays the user and the total number of movements that they have been responsible for based on the filters selected. It has the following columns:

  • User: the name of the user.
  • Movement Count: the total movements based on the filters selected.

Bottom grid

The bottom grid shows the detail of every move of the selected user. To populate this grid double click on the user name in the top grid. The bottom grid has the following column headings:

  • User: the user's name.
  • Date: the date of the movement.
  • Time: the time in minutes and seconds of the movement.
  • Name: the name of the customer.
  • SO Code: the sales order code.
  • Lines: the number of lines in the sales order.
  • Qty: the total quantity of stock items for the order.
  • From: the stage the move was from.
  • To: the stage the move was to.

WARNING: The Total Lines and Total Quantity figures are for the Sales Order; for part-ship despatches these may not reflect the lines and quantity physically processed.
