Supplier Returns List Tab

For the Other Action Menu options (press F9 or the Other Actions Menu on the Button Bar) see Purchasing Other Actions Menu.

The [ Supplier Returns | List ] screen is accessed either by clicking on the the khaki Sr menu button is used to open a new Supplier Return screen Supplier Return link on the Command Window or by selecting the Purchase Invoices radio button at the bottom of the Purchasing List tab.

This screen can be used to create a new supplier return and to search for existing supplier return(s). When the screen first opens the Go button must be pressed to populate the grid.

Supplier Returns List Tab

The [ Supplier Returns | List ] screen consists of three areas:

Notes:

  1. When searching using the 'Supplier Return Code' filter, the date range filter is ignored; all other filters work in combination with the date range.
  2. To open a Supplier Return double-click on it in the grid.

Supplier Returns Top Filters

Use the fields in this area to search for a specific supplier return(s).

  • Supplier Return Code: displays supplier returns for a specific or part code and uses wildcard blocks to filter for part codes.
  • Stock (Red Traffic Light Filter /Green Traffic Light Filter traffic light filter): displays returns containing the specified stock item. The adjacent the green opening folder icon is normally linked to the opening of a dialog box that allows the user to browse and select a value or range of values button is used to load the stock item.
  • Supplier (Red Traffic Light Filter /Green Traffic Light Filter traffic light filter): displays returns for a specific supplier, the adjacent the green opening folder icon is normally linked to the opening of a dialog box that allows the user to browse and select a value or range of values button is used to load the supplier.
  • Date (Red Traffic Light Filter /Green Traffic Light Filter traffic light filter): the date range from the earliest to the latest date to be included in the search. Once set, the dates set will be retained across all the Purchasing List screens while open.

Supplier Return Grid

This grid is initially populated with supplier returns history based on the date range set in the 'Top Filter'. Double-clicking an item displays the associated return details.

  • Supplier:
    • URN: displays the supplier's URN.
    • Name: displays the supplier's name.
  • Supplier Return:
    • Code: the Supplier Return Code of the supplier return.
    • Net Total: the net total of the items being returned.
    • Grs Total: the gross total of the items being returned.
    • Returned: the date the supplier return was created.
    • Credit Received: a checkbox to show whether a credit note has been received from the supplier, this is set in the [Return to Supplier] tab. Please note that this can only be BtnTriStYesXP.jpg ticked if you receive a Supplier Credit Note before you send the goods back to the supplier. i.e. It cannot be BtnTriStYesXP.jpg ticked once the Apply & Create Credit Note checkbox has been BtnTriStYesXP.jpg ticked in the [ Return To Supplier ] tab.
    • Posted: this checkbox shows whether the Apply & Create Credit Note checkbox has been BtnTriStYesXP.jpg ticked in the [ Return To Supplier ] tab..
  • Site: the site the items returned are from.
  • User: the user who created the return.

Supplier Return Grid Context Menu

The supplier return context menu (right-click in the grid to display) is available from any area of the list screen's grid:

  • Goto Supplier: opens the [ Supplier | Detail | General ] tab associated with the selected supplier return.
  • Goto Supplier Return: opens the [ Return To Supplier ] tab for the supplier return currently focused on in the grid.
  • Send To:
    • Not logged in: send the focused on supplier return as a Document Notification to a user that is not currently logged in.
    • User List (displayed below the Not logged in option: send a Document Notification to a user that is currently logged in.
  • Clear Selection: deselects the currently selected line(s).
