Reward Points

Reward points allow the user to give the customer the ability to accumulate reward points when they buy specific stock items. These can then be redeemed against a selection of stock items.

System Values - Stock - Reward Points

  • Recalculate Reward Points by Discount % (default=unticked):
    • : using this method the system assumes that the stock item's Sell Price equals 100% of the number of reward points defined against the stock item in the [ Stock | Detail | Properties ] screen. If there is a discount off the Sell Price, the number of reward points allocated to the customer is affected by this percentage, for example:
      Stock item's Reward Points = 100
The customer has 50% discount for the item on the sales order
The customer will get 50 Reward Points
Notes: the discount can be entered on the sales order or as a result of a promotion, for example Price List.
    • : the customer will receive the reward points as defined against each stock item, for each stock item bought, not taking into account any discounts.

Vouchers

Gift vouchers options are configured here. The gift voucher functionality must be enabled first, please email Development for more information.

System Values - Stock - Vouchers

  • Automatically Generate Voucher Codes (default=ticked):
    • : when a gift voucher is added to a sales order the voucher code is automatically generated.
    • : the user is prompted for a voucher code.
      Notes:
      1. Vouchers are not enabled by default, please email Development for more information.
      2. If using pre-printed gift vouchers, users must remember to overwrite the code and enter their own before selling the customer the voucher.
      3. Although the gift voucher code is automatically generated it is still editable.

Note: new systems are normally supplied with (default) values shown.
