How To: Remove Child Items Associated with a Parent Stock Item

Linking existing stock items to a new parent SCS item is an Advanced User feature.

Child elements cannot be deleted from the parent stock item without breaking the association first.

1. Open the parent stock item.
2. Click on the button.
3. Focus on the value you wish to delete and right-click.
4. From the Context Menu select [ Break Association ]. A warning will appear to say that stock item will be left in the system but not marked as an SCS item.
5. Click on Yes.
6. Click on the button below the element if you wish to delete the value from the element.
   Note: if you do not delete the item it will remain as a value in the SCS parent but will not be populated with a stock item unless a stock item is generated or associated with it.
7. Click on OK.
