How To: Part Ship a Sales Order

If you have a sales order where you don't have all the stock, you can part ship the items that you do have. Once the rest of the items are booked in, you can then process and send them off to the customer.

1. Open a Sales Invoice Manager screen (show me how).
2. Go to the Future - Awaiting Stock stage.
3. Green select the sales order that you wish to part ship.
4. Click on the is used by default to move all or only selected orders into the Released stage.
5. Acknowledge the system message.
6. Click Yes in the warning that states that you are attempting to release orders that are not fully fulfilled.
7. Process the sales order through the Sales Invoice Manager as normal.
8. Once issued, the sales order will go into Future - Awaiting Stock stage until the rest of the items arrive. The invoice for the items that have been shipped will go into the Current folder.
