How To: Setup a buy one item from a selection and get the same item for free (2 for the price of 1)

This Telesales Rule will give the the customer two for the price of one item from a limited range of items.
Notes:
You could:
- ... limit the offer items by Stock Type if you wanted.
- ... have similar offers such as 3 for the price of 2 by changing the BOGOF qty to 3, or 4 for the price of 3.
Example Scenario
In the example below:
if the customer:
- buys two or more of the same item from a range of items;
they can have:
- the same item for free, every time they purchase in increments of two, see the result of the example below.
Action Details and Group Comparison Scope
Make the rule active, set the discount to 50% and the BOGOF quantity to 2
Set the Group Comparison Scope to Specific Stock Codes or Types and Click on the Set button
Define the Stock Item the Customer has to Purchase to Qualify for the Offer
Condition Detail for the products the customer must buy in order to qualify for the offer

If ALL of these conditions are TRUE
Quantity sold is greater than or equal to 2
Result
The following items were included in the offer:
- 73090 - Shaving Soap And Bowl
- BDOM - Deodorant For Men
- BDOW - Deodorant For Women
- BFTBO - Fake Tan - Burnt Orange
- BHAC - Aloe Conditioner
- BHAS - Aloe Shampoo
Buying two different items that are included in the offer
- Neither of the items added have a discount.
Buying two or more of the same item
- Buy one item included in the offer - stock code BDOM: As there is only one of the BDOM items then it does not qualify for the offer.
- Buy two items included in the offer - stock code BDOW: As there two BDOW items then there is a 50% discount as one is free.
- Buy three items included in the offer - stock code BHAC: As there three BHAC items then there is a 33% discount as one is free.
- Buy four items included in the offer - stock code BHAS: As there three BHAS items then there is a 50% discount as two are free.
- An item not included in the offer: Items not included in the offer don't get the discount.
