Accounts Stock Value Site Stock Tab

The [ Accounts | Stock Value | Site Stock ] screen displays the stock levels held in different sites along with sales per stock item for the sites, see How To: View stock sales and levels across sites. When using sites this screen is a valuable tool for reporting on more than one site, viewing the stock holdings and sales during the specified date range and being able to compare them. It also allows the user to view the total number of stock items available for sale, the total number of stock items and stock sales across all of the selected sites.
The [ Accounts | Stock Value | Site Stock ] screen consists of the upper filters and the grid. The Go button must be pressed after selecting the filters to populate the grid.
Site Stock Filters
- Sites: the list of current sites that the user can select to view the information in the grid.
Note: the user's current site will be ticked by default. - Date From and Date To: the date range filter for sales orders; it defaults to the last month from today i.e. today's date will be in the Date To field.
Note: the stock holding figures returned are not filtered and display the current levels for the site(s) selected. - Stock Type (
/
traffic light filter): filter the data returned in the grid by level 2 stock types. - Show Stock checkbox (default=ticked): controls whether or not In Stock levels for the Site(s) selected (and overall) are returned on the grid.
- Show Sales checkbox (default=ticked): controls whether or not Sales figures for the Site(s) selected (and overall) are returned on the grid. This is for all sales orders created within the date range specified.
- Discontinued tri-state checkbox (default=unticked): to show only, exclude or include discontinued stock items in the results.
- Run to Zero tri-state checkbox (default=unticked): to show only, exclude or include run to zero stock items in the results.
- Quantity / Value Radio Buttons: defines whether the report returns quantities or values for the Site(s)'s In Stock and Sales figures.
Note: the current Sell Price and Stock Value from the[ Stock | Detail | Properties ]screen are used when running the report using the Value radio button.
Notes:
- For Stock columns in the grid: Value = Stock Value * Qty.
- For Sales columns in the grid: Value = Sell Price * Qty
- Both Sell Price and Stock Value are taken from
[ Stock | Detail | Properties ]at the time of running the report.
Site Stock Grid
- Stock Code: the unique identification code for a stock item.
- Description: short description of the stock item.
- Type: the level 2 Stock Type for the stock item.
- Buy Price: from the
[ Stock | Detail | Properties ]screen. - Sell Price: from the
[ Stock | Detail | Properties ]screen. - Stock Val: the stock value from the
[ Stock | Detail | Properties ]screen. - Site #
Note: the number of Site columns will depend on the number of sites selected in the Sites filter.- Site Name: the name of the site holding for the adjacent sales and stock figures.
- Stock: current In Stock figure for site.
- Sales: sales figure for the site over the specified date range.
- Total Sk: total for all the Stock columns returned.
- Total Sa: total for all the Sales columns returned.
- On Order: the number of items on purchase order figure for the current site.
- Assigned: the number of items assigned to sales orders for the current site.
- Available: the total number of stock items available for sale ((Total Stock - Total Sales) - Goods Assigned).
Site Stock Grid Context Menu
- Goto Stock Item...: opens the
[ Stock | Detail | Properties ]screen for the selected stock item. - Clear Selection: deselects the currently selected line(s).
