Customer Other Extended Stock Descriptions Tab

Default Extended Stock Descriptions allow longer descriptions to be attached to stock items so that, when they are selected for inclusion on a sales order for the current customer, or a purchase order if listed against a supplier, the extended description is inserted automatically.

Notes:

1. This description can be changed or replaced on the sales or purchase order as required.
2. Extended stock descriptions defined against a customer or supplier override those defined against a stock item, see How To: Add an Extended Stock Description and How To: Delete an Extended Stock Description.
   

The Extended Stock Descriptions screen contains two areas:

• The stock item area on the left where the stock items are added or deleted using the buttons to the left of the area.
• The extended description area on the right where the description for each item is added.
