Introduction

Deferred Cost of Sales allows Khaos Control to postpone the posting of cost-of-sales transactions until specific conditions are met.
This option can be useful depending on your accounting processes and reporting requirements.
This article explains how to enable or disable the Deferred Cost of Sales feature.

Enable Deferred Cost of Sales

  1. Open the System Operations menu.
  2. Select Edit System Values.
  3. Navigate to [ System Values | Accounts | General | Miscellaneous ].
  4. Tick the Defer Cost of Sale checkbox.
  5. Click OK to save the setting.
  6. Restart Khaos Control for the change to take effect.

Disable Deferred Cost of Sales

To turn off Deferred Cost of Sales:
  1. Open the System Operations menu.
  2. Select Edit System Values.
  3. Navigate to [ System Values | Accounts | General | Miscellaneous ].
  4. Untick the Defer Cost of Sale checkbox.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Restart Khaos Control for the change to take effect.
