System Data EPOS Price Reduction Reasons

This screen lists the reasons that are used in conjunction with Khaos Control EPOS System. If a discount is given, for example using price correction or discount keys, the user must specify the reason the price reduction has been given from a drop-down list defined in this screen, see How To: Setup EPOS Price Reduction Reasons.

Examples:

• Damaged.
• Faulty.
• Sale Item.
• Charity Discount.
• Goodwill.
• Staff Discount.
• Marketing.

Note: the selected reason will be printed on the receipt.

EPOS Price Reduction Reasons Grid

• Price Reduction Reason: the name of the Price Reduction Reason.
  Note: this text will be printed on the receipt.
• Default: the reason automatically selected when reducing the cost of a stock item.
  Notes:
  1. Only one option can have 'Default' ticked.
  2. The other options are available in the drop-down list.

EPOS Price Reduction Reasons Context Menu

• Apply Value Range: allows the user to specify a value that is to be applied to all of the currently selected rows/items for the current column.
• Clear Selection: deselects the currently selected line(s).
