How To: Print the Balance Sheet

Introduction

The Balance Sheet provides a snapshot of your business's financial position, including assets, liabilities and retained earnings.
Once the Balance Sheet has been generated, you can print it directly from Khaos Control or export the information for further analysis.

  1. Open an Accounts screen (show me how).
  2. Open the [ Balance Sheet ] tab.
  3. Display the Balance Sheet information you want to print.
    Depending on your requirements, you may want to:
  4. Click the Print button on the toolbar.
  5. In the Print Dialog, review and update the print options as required.
  6. Click OK to generate the report.
The Balance Sheet will be displayed and can then be printed using your selected printer settings.

Export the Balance Sheet

If you would prefer to work with the data outside Khaos Control, you can export the Balance Sheet information.
  1. Right-click within the Balance Sheet grid.
  2. Select Send to Notepad from the context menu.
  3. Save the exported file in your preferred location.
The data can then be opened in applications such as Microsoft Excel for further analysis or reporting.

Tips

  • Check that the correct date range or accounting period is selected before printing.
  • Review the report on screen before printing to confirm the figures are correct.
  • Exporting the data can be useful if you need to create custom reports or share information with your accountant.
  • Save a PDF copy for audit or year-end records.
