How To: View a KPI Dashboard

KPI Dashboards provide a visual way to monitor key business information within Khaos Control. Access to dashboards depends on your user permissions and assigned profiles.

Admin Users and Users with Assigned Profiles

If you are an Admin user, or have been assigned a profile that includes dashboard access, you can open a KPI Dashboard directly from the menu bar.

View a KPI Dashboard

  1. Select Dash from the Khaos Control menu bar.
  2. Choose the dashboard you want to view from the submenu.
The selected KPI Dashboard will open and be available for use.

Non-Admin Users

By default, dashboard menus are not visible to non-admin users unless a dashboard has been assigned to one of their user profiles.
Dashboard profile assignments can only be configured by an Admin user.

Assign a Dashboard to a User Profile

  1. Select Dash from the Khaos Control menu bar and then choose Configure Dash.
  2. In the top grid of the Configure Dash Display window, select the dashboard you want to make available.
  3. In the Profile column, select the appropriate cell and press F4.
  4. Choose the required profile from the drop-down list.
  5. Select OK to save the change and close the window.
The dashboard will now be available to all users assigned to that profile.

Notes and Important Information

  • Dashboard profile assignment and configuration can only be performed by an Admin user.
  • For KPI Dashboards to refresh automatically with live data, K-Signal must be enabled on your system.
  • Users will only see dashboards that have been assigned to their profile.
