How To: View when and who made changes to a stock item

Introduction
The audit history allows you to see who made changes to a stock item, when the changes were made, and what information was updated.
This can be useful when investigating stock changes, tracking user activity, or reviewing the history of a product record.
View Audit Information
- Open a Stock screen.
- Load the required stock item.
- Press F9 or select the drop-down arrow next to Other Actions.
- Select Audit to open the Audit Dialog.
- Select the Detail tab.
The Detail tab displays a history of changes made to the stock item, including the user who made the change, the date and time of the update, and the values that were amended.
What Can Be Viewed?
Depending on the changes made, the audit history may include:
- User details for the person who made the change.
- The date and time the change was made.
- Previous and updated values.
- Changes to stock information and settings.
- Record updates made over the lifetime of the stock item.
Tips
- Use the audit history when investigating unexpected changes to stock records.
- Check the date and user information to identify when updates were made.
- Review the Detail tab regularly if you need to track amendments to important stock items.
