How To: Add a Reason to an Unsuccessful Quotation

After a quotation has been marked as unsuccessful, see How To: Mark a Quotation as Unsuccessful, a reason can be assigned to indicate why the quote failed to be converted into a sales order. Quotation Reasons must be setup beforehand, see How To: Create Quotation Reasons.

  1. Open a CRM Manager screen (show me how).
  2. Open the [ Quotes (Opportunities) ] screen.
  3. In the panel at the top, set the Status filter to 'Unsuccessful' and change the traffic light to green.
  4. Find and focus on the quotation you are adding a reason to.
  5. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  6. Scroll to the far right of the grid and focus in the Reason column.
  7. F4 and select the appropriate reason.
  8. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button    to save.
