Repeat Orders New Order Tab
The 'New Order' screen can be used to load customer details using the filters at the top of the screen. Double-clicking on a customer in the grid will automatically create a sales order for that customer.
Note: a new sales order for the customer selected can also be created using the context menu.
This screen consists of the upper filters, the grid and the lower filters.
New Order Tab Top Filters
The fields in this area can be used to search for a specific customer(s). Combination searches and the percentage (%) wildcard may be used to improve the search results.
- URN: customer / company URN.
- Company Name: customer / company name.
- Surname: surname of customer or contact at company.
- Town: name of town.
- Post Code: postcode.
New Order Tab Grid
- URN: customer / company URN.
- Company Name: customer / company name.
- Address: customer / company address.
- Town: name of town.
- Post Code: postcode.
- Surname: surname of customer or contact at company.
- Forename: forename of customer or contact at company.
New Order Tab Context Menu
- New Sales Order: create a sales order for the selected line.
- Goto Customer: opens
[ Customer | Detail | General ]for the current line. - Clear Selection: deselects the currently selected line(s).
New Order Tab Lower Filters
- Company Class (
/
traffic light filter): filter the grid by Company Class for example Account, Retail etc. - Company Type ( / traffic light filter): filter the grid by Company Type.
- Supplier checkbox: filter the grid by suppliers rather than customers.
