Once you have set up a Keycode to generate unique alias offer codes, you can manually add customers who should be eligible for the offer.

Add Customers to a Keycode Alias

  1. Open a Promotion screen (show me how).
  2. Find and open the Keycode you want to update.
  3. Open the [ Promotion | Keycode | Aliases ] screen.
  4. Press Alt + E or click the Edit button to enter edit mode.
  5. Click the Add Customer button to the left of the grid. This opens the Customer Lookup window.
  6. Find and select the customer you want to add.
    Tip: You can select multiple customers using the green selection markers and add them in a single action.
  7. Press Ctrl + S or click the Save button to save your changes.

What Happens Next?

Once added, the selected customers are associated with the Keycode alias and can benefit from any offers linked to that Keycode, subject to the offer's configuration and validity period.

Additional Information

  • Customers can be added individually or in bulk.
  • Manual assignment is useful when you need to control which customers receive a specific promotional offer.
  • If large numbers of customers need unique alias codes, automatic code generation may be a more efficient option.
