How To: View a Customer's Cancelled Sales Order

Khaos Control keeps a permanent record of cancelled sales orders, including the reason they were cancelled. This allows you to review individual cancellations, investigate customer history and report on cancellation trends.
If your system uses Structured Cancellation Reasons, users must select a reason from a predefined list when cancelling a sales order. An optional supporting note can also be recorded. For more information, see How To: Use Structured Cancellation Reasons.
View a Cancelled Sales Order
- Open a Customer screen (show me how).
- Open the [ Customer Service | Sales Orders / Invoices ]tab.
- Tick Show Cancelled at the top of the screen.
- Click Go.
- Any cancelled sales orders will be displayed in the grid in red.
- Click on the cancelled sales order you want to review.
- Right-click within the grid and select Show Cancelled Sales Order.
- The Audit Dialog will open and display:
- The cancelled sales order.
- The cancellation reason.
- Any supporting notes recorded during cancellation.
View All Cancelled Orders for a Customer
To see every cancelled order associated with a customer:
- Open the Audit Dialog.
- Configure the filters as follows:
- Set Event Type to Cancellations.
- Turn the corresponding traffic light filter to Green.
- Use the customer lookup button to load the required customer.
- Ensure the customer filter traffic light is also Green.
- Click Go.
Result
The Audit Dialog will display:
- All cancelled sales orders for the selected customer in the upper grid.
- The stock items associated with each cancelled order in the lower grid.

Structured Cancellation Reasons
If Structured Cancellation Reasons are enabled:
- Users must select a predefined cancellation reason when cancelling an order.
- A supporting note may also be required, depending on the selected reason.
- Cancellation reasons and notes are stored for audit and reporting purposes.
