025027 - New Direct Conversion for Intelligent Shipper
1. Overview
KCSL have made changes to the Intelligent Shipper courier such that there is now a courier option to convert PDF labels to PNG directly.
2. Configuration
An updated changelog and courier dll will be provided with this functionality.In [ System Data | Courier / Shipping | Couriers ], right-click your Intelligent Shipper courier and click Configure...
Find the new option 'Store label as PNG' and tick this. Click OK to save this option.
This will now override the option in [ System Operations | Edit System Values | Couriers | General ] called 'Convert PDF files' and directly convert PDFs to PNG.
3. Usage
After applying the above Configuration, typical steps for usage would include:
1. Ship a sales order that has an Intelligent Shipper courier.
2. Notice in the label folder (setup in the Courier Config options) there is both a PNG and a PDF copy of the label.
