4. Usage

After applying the above Configuration, typical steps for usage would include:

  1. Within the stock list access the new dialog via Other Actions(F9) > Print > Print Labels via Scan.
  2. A template can be selected from the Design dropdown (configured in Basic Report Labels Setup). Defaults to the first in the list alphabetically.
  3. Label Qty sets the quantity of labels to print for the code next scanned in. Defaults to 1 (Note: Value does not reset between scans when in Batch mode).
  4. The dialog focus will default to the Scan field. Entering either a Stock Code or Stock Barcode will either print that label, or add the item to the batch list (depending on toggle set).
  5. Lookup will open a stock lookup table for manual selection.
  6. The toggle Print Immediately will move to the printer selection as soon as a code is scanned or item is chosen from the lookup table.
  7. The toggle Batch Mode will add scanned items to the batch grid, additional Stock items can be scanned in. The Qty can be set via the Label Qty field prior to scanning, or after scanning within the batch grid. Pressing Print will move the batch to the print stage
