025699 New Channels Shopify - Import Email against Delivery Contact

KCSL have added a new option to the [Channels | Setup] as a Shopify specific option that will import the email address against the Delivery Contact.

 

A new option will be added to the [Channels | Setup] as a Shopify specific option that will import the emails against the Delivery Contact.

 

By default this should reflect the current system logic and be switched off when added to systems.

 

The email address will be pulled from Shopify data with the hierarchy matching the invoice contact:

1. Pull from the order.Email object.

2. Pull from the order.Customer.Email object.

 

If the objects mentioned do not have an email defined it will remain blank.

 

An updated application will be provided with this functionality.

[ Channels | Detail | Setup ]

The new option is named ‘Import Delivery Address Email’ and is unticked by default.

After applying the above Configuration, typical steps for usage would include:

 

 

4.1 A Shopify order with an email address when downloaded into Khaos Control, will add the email address to the delivery contact.
