Form Buttons
Each form or screen has a button bar located on the left-hand side. The button bar is dynamic: buttons will be "greyed out" when inactive; also the buttons displayed will vary slightly from screen to screen. The button bar may contain the following buttons:

| | Preferences | Theme You can select from a list of form "colours" that will change all windows and the Command Window to match the chosen theme. Fit the Form | |
| | Saved Filters | Opens the dialog used to manage saved filters | |
| | Help | F1 | Context-sensitive help; opens the Help system and moves to the relevant topic associated with the current form |
| | Delete | Deletes the current document (e.g. selecting delete from the customer form will delete the loaded customer) | |
| | Time Machine | Used to view the edit history of a sales or purchase order | |
| | Refresh | F5 | Refreshes information on the form |
| | Ctrl+P | Prints information about the current form (not supported in certain situations) | |
| | Delete Item | Ctrl+Del | Deletes the selected item (not available on every form) |
| | New Item | F3 | Add a new item (not available on every form) |
| | Cancel | Alt+A | Cancels edit mode and puts the document back into its previously saved state |
| | Save | Ctrl+S | Saves the current document |
| | Edit Mode | Alt+E | Edits the current document. Changes cannot be made unless in edit mode |
| | New | Ctrl+N | Creates a new record (for example, New in Sales Order form will create a New sales order) |
| | Open | F7 | Opens the list tab allowing users to select another document |
| | Close | Alt+C | Closes the current form |
