How To: Add Address

  1. Open a Customer screen (show me how).
  2. Load the required customer record.
  3. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  4. Open the [ Customer | Detail | Address ] tab.
  5. Click the BtnNewItemX.jpg New Item button located in the top left section of the screen.
  6. If you have purchased KPAF (Khaos Control Postcode Address File) click BtnPostcodeLookup.jpg.
    • Enter the postcode and press Enter.
    • Type the house number in the # box and click 'OK', the address is automatically entered in to the new address fields.
  7. If you have not purchased KPAF then enter the details manually into the address fields.
  8. Enter any additional details, such as an email address, as required.
  9. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save the record.


  1. The new address will have no contacts held against it. Therefore, it is necessary to follow adding a contact to an existing customer address.
  2. The new contact details can be added at the same time that the new address is created.
  3. Please read the information contained in the [ Customer | Detail | Address ] tab in regards to the implications of adding, amending or deleting contact / address details.
  4. Trailing spaces are trimmed on contact and address fields when the new record is saved.
