How To: Close Khaos Control

There are two methods for closing Khaos Control:

  • Manually
  • Automatically logging users out and then closing the application if they have been idle for a specified period of time, see Auto Logout.

To manually log out of Khaos Control:

  1. Save any screens that are in Edit mode.
    Note: the system will warn the user and give them the option of saving any screens that are in Edit mode.
  2. Either:
    1. Click on the the red cross icon is an application button that is used to close all screens and exit Khaos Control button at the bottom left of the Command Window; or
    2. Click on the Title bar close red cross button button on the top right of the title bar; or
    3. Click on File on the Menu bar and select Exit Application.
  3. If there any windows still open the Confirm popup will appear, click on Yes.
    Note: if you select No the application will not close.
  4. If there are any windows still in Edit mode a Confirm popup will appear fro each open window, select either:
    1. Yes to cancel any changes so the user can close the application; or
    2. No to leave the screen in Edit mode and allow the user to save any changes they have made.
  5. Click Yes in the last confirmation popup to close the application.
