How To: Create a Call List

  1. Open a Repeat Orders screen (show me how).
  2. Open the [ Call List Setup ] tab.
  3. Choose the user the Call List is for from the 'User' drop-down.
  4. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  5. Press F3 or click the NEW ITEM button has an icon that shows two sheets of paper (identified by having the top right corner folded down), arranged diagonally on the icon from top left to bottom right to add a new item.
  6. Focus on the newly created line in the grid.
  7. Press the BtnCallListF8X.jpg or pressF8.
  8. In the popup use the the green opening folder icon is normally linked to the opening of a dialog box that allows the user to browse and select a value or range of values or press F8 to load the Customer Lookup.
  9. Use the filters to locate the required customer.
  10. Double click on the customer.
  11. Choose the appropriate contact and delivery address from the drop-down menus.
  12. Click 'OK'.
  13. Enter the correct number in the 'DOW' column to assign the customer to the correct day on the call list, using the information key at the bottom of the screen.
    Notes:
    1. If the customer is to be called on a particular day of the month rather than day of the week, enter the correct number in the 'DOM' column.
    2. To remove the default DOW focus in the field and press the Backspace key.
  14. Enter a time for the customer to be called in the 'Time' column.
  15. Choose an alternative user to call the customer (if the default user is unavailable) in the 'Alt User' column.
  16. Fill in any other relevant columns.
  17. Repeat steps 5-16 until all the required customers have been added.
    Note: if the same customer is called on different days of the week, they will need to be added multiple times.
  18. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save.
