How To: Create a follow up Task with a reminder from any screen
To create a task with a reminder, for example after creating a new Sales Order (How To: Create a New Sales Order)
you should:
- Go to
Relationship Management
file menu at the top of the screen - Select
Create Task
. - Click the button or press F8 to select the company.
- Enter the tasks description in the
Desc:
field in the New Task dialog. - Tick the
Create associated reminder action
checkbox. - Set a reminder date in the future.
- Set a reminder time in the future.
- Select the
User
for which the task will be assigned to. - Select what sort of Task it is from the
Task Type
dropdown. - Select the
Priority
of the task from the dropdown. - Click OK to create the Task.
- Click OK to acknowledge that the task has been created.
