How To: Create a Time Limited Offer for a Specific Customer

1. Create the Price List (optional)
2. Create the Keycode
   • Link the keycode to the Price List you have created, or
   • Add the promotional items directly to the Free or Reduced Price Stock Items grid on the keycode.
3. Add the Keycode to the Customer Record
4. Add the Keycode to the Sales Order

Create the Price List

1. Create the required Price List by following How To: Set Stock Item Prices Against a Price List.
2. If the promotion only contains a small number of products, you can add them directly to the keycode using the Free or Reduced Price Stock Items grid.

Create the Keycode

1. Create a new keycode by following How To: Create a Keycode.
2. Configure the following settings:
   • Expiry Date
     Enter the date the promotion should end.
   • Uses this Price List
     Select the Price List created above. If you are not using a Price List, add the promotional products directly to the Free or Reduced Price Stock Items grid.
   • Applicable on SO Only if Already Attached to Customer
     Tick this option to ensure the promotion can only be used by customers who have the keycode assigned to their account. For more information, see Customer Screen Overview.
3. Press Ctrl+S or click Save to save the keycode.

Add the Keycode to the Customer Record

1. Open the required customer record. If needed, see How To: Open a Customer Screen.
2. In the list view, locate and green-select the customer record.
3. Click Update Selected Items. The Update Selected Items Dialog will open.
4. Change the traffic light next to Key Code from red to green.
5. Select the required keycode from the drop-down list.
6. Click OK.
7. Click Yes when prompted to confirm the update.

Add the Keycode to the Sales Order

Note: Even if the keycode has been added to the customer's record, it must still be entered on the Sales Order for the promotional pricing to apply
