How To: Prevent individual customers from being affected by Product Bars setup against their Company Class
Individual customers can be prevented from being affected by Product Bars configured against their Company Class. This works for a Customer in a Company Class that already has product bars defined against it, either for individual stock items or stock types.
Individual Stock Items
- Open a Promotion screen
- Load the
[ Promotions | Product Bars/Suggested | Company ]
screen. - Click on the and find and load the customer the exemption(s) is for.
- Press Alt+E or click to enter edit mode.
- Make sure the checkbox to the left of the upper Product Bars grid is ticked.
- Press F3 or click to add a new item.
- Select the item(s) to be exempted from the stock lookup and double-click or press Enter.
- Tick on the Exempt check-box at the end of the grid for each item.
Note: if there are multiple items that require the Exempt checkbox to be ticked then:- Focus in the grid press Ctrl+A.
- Focus in the Exempt column.
- Right click and select Apply Value Range for the options.
- Enter -1 and press enter.
- Press Ctrl+S or click to save.
Stock Types
- Open a Promotion screen
- Load the
[ Promotions | Product Bars/Suggested | Company ]
screen. - Click on the and find and load the customer the exemption(s) is for.
- Press Alt+E or click to enter edit mode.
- Make sure the checkbox to the left of the Product Type Bars grid is ticked.
- Press F3 or click to add a new item.
- Focus in the grid and press F4.
- Find and select the Level 2 Stock Type.
- Tick on the Exempt check-box at the end of the grid for each entry.
Note: if there are multiple stock types that require the Exempt checkbox to be ticked then:- Focus in the grid press Ctrl+A.
- Focus in the Exempt column.
- Right click and select Apply Value Range for the options.
- Enter -1 and press enter.
- Press Ctrl+S or click to save.
