How To: Setup an Invoice Priority to a Courier Delivery Service

1. Invoice Priorities can be linked to delivery services to help control the order in which sales orders are processed and invoiced. Once configured, orders using a specific delivery service can automatically inherit the associated invoice priority.

   Before assigning invoice priorities to delivery services, make sure you have already configured your priorities as described in How To: Setup Invoice Priorities.

   Steps

   1. Open a System Data screen.
   2. Open [ Sales Order Processing | Delivery Rates ].
   3. Press Alt + E or click Edit to enter edit mode.
   4. Locate the courier delivery service you want to configure.
   5. Click in the Inv Priority column for that delivery service.
   6. Press F4 and select the required invoice priority from the list.

   1. Press Ctrl + S or click Save to save your changes.

   Result

   Any sales orders that use the selected delivery service can now use the assigned invoice priority as part of your sales order processing workflow.

   Additional Information

   • Invoice Priorities must be created before they can be assigned to a delivery service.
   • Different delivery services can have different invoice priorities.
   • Using invoice priorities can help streamline order processing and ensure urgent or preferred orders are handled in the correct sequence.
