Company Types
Company types allow users to classify customers and suppliers more specifically, for example a Hotel Company Class could be created, with the size of the hotels (less than 20 beds, 20 to 50 beds, more than 50 beds etc.) listed as a Company Type. Alternatively a Company Class of Trade with Company Types of 'Hardware', 'Pet Food', 'Haberdashery' etc.
Company Types are set against a company in their [ Customer | Detail | General ] screen.
Company Types can be used in the following areas:
- Telesales Prompts
- As a filter in the
[ Customer | List ]screen - As a filter in Sales Summary for marketing analysis.
Company Types Grid
- Company Type: the name of the company type that will appear in the drop-down menu options, for example 'Hardware', 'Pet Food', 'Haberdashery' etc.
Company Types Context Menu
- Apply Value Range: allows the user to specify a value that is to be applied to all of the currently selected rows/items for the current column.
- Clear Selection: deselects the currently selected line(s).
