How To: Update Up and Cross Sell Items en-masse

If you have already configured an Up Sell or Cross Sell offer, you can quickly apply the same offer to multiple trigger items without recreating it for each stock record.

This is a useful way to maintain consistent Up/Cross Sell recommendations across similar products while saving time on setup.

Before You Start

Make sure the Up/Cross Sell offer has already been created against at least one stock item. The existing offer can then be copied to other trigger items.

Warning: Applying an Up/Cross Sell configuration will replace any existing Up Sell and Cross Sell settings on the selected stock items.

Apply an Existing Up/Cross Sell Offer

Open a Stock screen (show me how).
Open the main stock item that triggers the Up/Cross Sell dialogue when added to a sales order.
Go to the [ Stock | Detail | Up/Cross Sell ] tab.
In the upper grid, green-select the offer item or items you want to apply to other trigger products.
Right-click within the upper grid.
Select Apply to Selected from the shortcut menu.
In the Stock Lookup window, green-select all stock items that should use the selected Up/Cross Sell offer.
Double-click the selected stock items to continue.
Review the warning message carefully. If you want to proceed, click Yes.
Important: This process removes all existing Up Sell and Cross Sell configurations from the selected stock items before applying the new configuration.

Click Yes to confirm the changes.
Click OK on the confirmation message.

Result

The selected stock items will now use the same Up/Cross Sell offer configuration as the original trigger item, ensuring a consistent sales experience across your product range.

Additional Information

Multiple stock items can be updated in a single operation.
Any existing Up Sell or Cross Sell settings on the selected stock items will be overwritten.
Consider reviewing the selected stock items before confirming the update to avoid replacing existing configurations unintentionally.
