How To: Add A Contact

  1. Open a Customer screen (show me how).
  2. Load the required customer record.
  3. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  4. Open the [ Customer | Detail | Address ] tab.
  5. Focus on the address that new new contact is to be linked to in the upper Customer Address Details grid.
  6. Click the BtnNewItemX.jpg New Item button in the bottom left section of the screen.
  7. Enter the 'Title', 'Forename' and 'Surname' of the contact in the fields provided.
  8. Enter any other relevant details.
  9. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save the record.

Notes:

  1. Trailing spaces are trimmed on contact and address fields when the new record is saved.
  2. Please read the information contained in the Customer Address tab in regards to the implications of adding, amending or deleting contact / address details.
