How To: Copy Categories

Website Categories setup and maintenance is an Advanced User feature. Please speak to your website developers before using this feature. Configuring and using Web Categories requires HQ User permission.

1. Open a Web Configuration screen (show me how).
2. Load the required website.
3. Press Alt+E or click to enter edit mode.
4. Focus on the category you wish to copy.
5. Right-click and select Copy from the context menu.
6. Focus on the node you wish to paste the category to.
7. Right-click and select Paste from the context menu.
8. In the Confirm popup Should the associated items be copied with the node(s)? select as required to copy just the category name or the name and the stock items.
9. Press Ctrl+S or click to save when finished.
