How To: Create a follow up Task with a reminder from any screen

To create a task with a reminder after creating a new the blue So menu button is used to open a new Sales Order Sales Order (How To: Create a New Sales Order) or to make a change to an existing the blue So menu button is used to open a new Sales Order Sales Order (How To: View and Edit Existing Sales Orders),
you should:

  1. Go to Relationship Management file menu at the top of the screen
  2. Select Create Task.
  3. Click the the green opening folder icon is normally linked to the opening of a dialog box that allows the user to browse and select a value or range of values   button or press F8 to select the company.
  4. Enter the tasks description in the Desc: field in the New Task dialog.
  5. Tick the Create associated reminder action checkbox.
  6. Set a reminder date in the future.
  7. Set a reminder time in the future.
  8. Select the User for which the task will be assigned to.
  9. Select what sort of Task it is from the Task Type dropdown.
  10. Select the Priority of the task from the dropdown.
  11. Click OK to create the Task.
  12. Click OK to acknowledge that the task has been created.
